I remember when my brother Kevin stood in line for about a half hour so he could be one of the first people to get Nintendo's latest video game system called Wii in 2006. At the time, I didn't really understand what all the hype was about until he brought the system to my home so I could try it out. After he popped in the first sports game CD, I found myself immediately engrossed in virtual games of baseball, boxing and golf, and among others.Because of the severe physical limitations arthritis imposed on my body, I had never been able to play these sports before. Instead, I always sat on the sidelines watching my brother play baseball and soccer as he grew up. Now, for the first time, we could play together-even if it was virtually-and I even broke a sweat!
